About Women’s and Obstetric Imaging
Our fellowship-trained physicians and certified technologists are here to provide the highest quality care to our community in a compassionate setting. Our subspecialties include ultrasound, MRI, and several image-guided procedures. We commonly see patients for infertility or obstetric imaging exams.
If you are trying to conceive, we offer hysterosalpingograms to evaluate your fallopian tubes, hysterosonograms if there is a concern with your uterine lining, or MRI to evaluate for multiple conditions associated with infertility and pregnancy loss. Once you get pregnant, our highly trained staff is available for your fetal imaging exams, including ultrasound and MRI.
We are also experts in treating female pelvic conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, adenomyosis, ovarian abnormalities, and uterine anomalies with image-guided services.
Preparing for Your Ultrasound in Oregon at CORA
An ultrasound early in your pregnancy may require a full bladder for the technician to obtain a clear image of the fetus and reproductive organs. You may be asked to drink 2 to 3 eight-ounce glasses of water an hour, refraining from urinating, before your ultrasound.
Since only your lower abdominal area needs to be exposed for the exam, wear a comfortable and loose-fitting two-piece outfit for your ultrasound. Please leave any jewelry at home.
