Dr. Laurie Martin was born and raised in Southern Idaho. She is board certified by both the American Board of Radiology as well as the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. After receiving her undergraduate degree from the College of Idaho, she moved to St. Louis to finish her education including her Fellowship subspecialty in Nuclear Medicine from St. Louis University Hospital. She also specializes in diagnostic radiology, PET, Xofigo treatment, Iodine thyroid treatment and Women’s Imaging. She regularly performs imaging guided procedures such as drain placements, needle placements, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and biopsies of the breast and thyroid. Dr. Martin sits on the St. Charles Tumor board as well as the St. Charles Professional Practice Evaluation Committee.
Dr. Martin relocated to Bend in 2000, where she and her husband have enjoyed raising their two children in the active Central Oregon outdoor lifestyle. She can often be found cross country skiing with her family in her free time.
