Originally from Michigan, Dr. Karen Lynn received her undergraduate degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan. She completed medical school in Pittsburgh, then returned to Michigan for residency training. While still remaining a Big Ten fan, she left the Midwest for fellowship training in Boston, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard School of Medicine.
After practicing medicine for 2 years near St. Louis, MO, she relocated to Bend and was thrilled to join CORA in 2014. She enjoys all aspects of medical imaging, but is most interested in women’s health, obstetric imaging and image-guided procedures. Her goal is to provide patients in Central Oregon with access to excellent medical imaging services and to offer compassionate medical care of the highest standards.
While not in work, Dr. Lynn stays busy at home with her family and being outdoors. She aspires to have a greener thumb, but this seems to be a continuous work in progress. She may be found rock climbing at Smith Rock, hiking with her dogs or skiing in the backcountry.
